Community Visits

As part of the curriculum at The Village, we like to form close links with the organisations, businesses and people within our local community.

One of our favourite things to do is visit the elderly who participate in the Enliven Programme at the Bethlehem Community Church next door to The Village. This is a great opportunity for both the young and old to get together to talk, play, dance and sing – a great time is had by all.

On our most recent visit we took over our ANZAC crosses that we made for local people killed in the world wars to show our elderly friends. We placed them on the roadside so other members of our local community could see them as they drove or walked past.
